Physical Appearance: Quite short with brown curly hair that bounches over her shoulder. Has quite a few dental issues





Personality:

+Active: Miriam is the very opposite of lazy, and she will even try (physically dragging them, if necessary) to get others to be happy-peppy with her too. YES. LETS PLAY A GAME OF QUIDDITCH RIGHT NOW ON YOUR LAZY SUNDAY.

+Determined: Tends to really hold on to her ideals, and doesn't give up quickly. It will help her overcome many trials later on in life.

+A great listener. Whether you want to vent about all your homework, or tell her how aMAZING your quidditch tactics are, she will always happily listen.

-Bold: Doesn't exactly think about what she says, and will probably accidentaly offend people with her words, despite having the best intentions.

-Tends to lie a lot: And might even start living the lie so now and then. (Oh right. I don't have a dragon taming great uncle.)

-Self righteous: Disregards the rules if she deems it as fair. Or unfair. She will probably find some way to give herself an excuse. I'm right, you are wrong. This goes very badly with her bold attitude.

-Reckless: She likes to add a little danger for that extra excitement, which may or may not have ended up with a few broken bones. This too goes for others, since she has the tendacy to drag others in her ''scenes''.

-Often forgets the feelings of others: Self explanatory. Sometimes she is a tad too egoistical to notice that her actions harm others too. Which might be from poking fun on the expense of others, to much more serious cases.


Fears: 

Lice. The whole idea of those creepers crawling on your head... It can make her incredibly anxious when she feels an itch on her head.

Being forgotten. The thought of her eventually being forgotten, and everything she has done being for nothing scares her a lot, even to the point of her mildly panicking when thinking about it.

Ventriloquist dolls. Just... No. Those are downright nightmare fuel. Her uncle used to work with them, and she avoids them like the plague.



History: 
  Born into a family of three (or four) , Miriam has always had all the attention of her world from her parents and her squib uncle who had to move in due to debts. There were no magical nephews or nieces to compare her with, so everything she did was simply "outstanding" in the eyes of her family. Even her first time magic was told to be that of an outstanding young witch when she managed to fly her bowl of baby food straight out of the window; something which wasnt unordinairy in young witches and wizards. However her family, who had longed so much for a small witch or wizards in their family, had praised her to the heaven for it.

This all caused Miriam to feel special; a prodigy if you will. Yet when she arrived at school, she learned the hard way that she was actually quite ordinary. Potions weren't quite as easy as she thought it would be. You've had to be incredibly specific witg the ingredients; something which Miriam wasnt. After the first semester she had to get a new couldron as she managed to create a big slimy mess when trying to make a simple textbook potion; the slime was impossible to remove.

It came as quite a big shock after her first year when she found out she really wasn't as great as she thought she was. But what about all the praise and attention she had received from her parents? Would that suddenly be gone aswell? Miriam feared that thought. The mere idea of it, going from a hero to a zero! She refused to ever let go of the spotlight she had always enjoyed



Likes: Fame, her guinea pig Truffles, free time, discovering new interests, 80's pop music, posters of said music, being the center of attention, whether it's good or bad. Bright colours, hearing stories about muggles, and making very bad ''abstract'' art.

Dislikes: Pessimists, lazy bums, people who are too serious in her opinion, having to sit still, peas (gggUH), Banana flavoured food (actual bananas are okay), critique on her ''art'', bad things said about muggles; whether they are correct (muggles and the election of an awful president) or not.

I understand that the mods will do their best to cast appropriately. If cast, I will not inform others of any role I have been assigned. I understand that this waiver does not guarantee my OC a set place in the plot, but that if not cast, I can shape my OC's place in the story.
